Hyfire Unveils Express Delivery Pledge for All Wireless Fire Devices

Despite the global supply chain crisis and the ensuing shortage of electronics components, wireless fire device leader, Hyfire, has pledged to fulfil all customer orders within one to two days, including smoke detectors, call points and other devices from its flagship Taurus range.

With fire installers struggling to meet demand for new fire systems and upgrades, especially in residential and high-rise buildings, the rapid availability of Hyfire wireless devices is sure to be welcome news as not only are wireless devices quicker and simpler to install, they can also be pre-programmed offsite to help minimise contact with building occupiers.

“When we were preparing for the launch of Taurus earlier this year, our UK procurement team rightly anticipated the surge in demand for wireless fire devices in the aftermath of the lockdown, further fuelled by the advent of the Fire Safety Act 2021,” said Tom Crane, Business Unit Director for Hyfire. “This means that we retain ample stocks of all key devices in our Taurus and Static lines, including a full range of wireless fire detectors, expanders, sounders, call points and input modules.”

Hyfire offers the widest range of commercial standard wireless fire devices on the market, ranging from optical, multi-criteria and heat detectors to notification, alarm, interface and control units, all fully certified to EN54. All products offer the highest performance and quality in the industry, and are also fully compliant with BS5839 Part 1. Fire panels are wired via a loop to translators, from which wireless devices can be used on their own to build fully wireless systems of virtually any size, or mixed with Hyfire wired products to provide seamless hybrid solutions, offering total flexibility to specifiers and installers.

The Taurus wireless range offers all of the advantages traditionally associated with wireless, such as convenience, rapid installation and simplified system specification, and adds performance that will not only equal traditional wired systems, but exceed them in most areas. It can easily answer the needs of both small-to-medium or large-scale sites and is capable of handling up to 128 devices per wireless translator and 240 per hybrid loop, with a ten-year battery life on input and five years on output devices.

“We know there are many installers out there pulling their hair out due to the unavailability of key devices, so it’s great that we have the capacity to help them out,” added Tom. “It’s not just a call to existing Hyfire installers either. We are always on the lookout for new partners and, if you’re new to wireless devices, it’s not a problem. We offer all the guidance and support you need to get started.”

Hyfire was launched as Sterling Safety Systems in 2007, bringing to market some of the first commercial wireless detection and alarm devices fully certified to EN54. Since then, the Hyfire brand has become synonymous with quality, reliability and innovation in the commercial fire sector. Hyfire devices come with a five-year warranty, backed up by a dedicated partner programme to ensure the best survey, installation, commissioning, after sales service and exceptional technical support.
