A prestigious new science and business park in Scotland’s capital is now protected by 100 wireless fire devices from the world-leading Hyfire range.
Set amongst 126 acres of mature parkland, just eight miles south of the city centre, Edinburgh Technopole offers a wealth of flexible offices, high specification laboratories and product development space.
Working with Robert Bruce, our Regional Sales Manager for Scotland, long-time Hyfire partner FMS Fire & Security designed and specified a complete new installation for the flagship business site, selecting wireless devices as they allowed for rapid and efficient installation of the new fire system.
Due to parts of the building being scientific labs, it was imperative that the installation was carried out with minimal disruption to the lab technicians. Hyfire technology provided the flexibility of programming off site and simply arriving on site to attach the wireless fire devices to the ceiling.
