We’re happy to announce the addition of Kenny Pang to the Hyfire team as Head of Product with two decades of fire experience within both technical and commercial functions.
Born in Portsmouth, Kenny gained his degree in Electronic Communication Systems from University of Plymouth and started his career with Halma’s sister company “Apollo Fire Detectors” initially as a product development engineer and most recently Head of Global Business Development which has given Kenny all the tools and knowledge needed to excel as Head of Product. Kenny states:
“What attracted me to Hyfire was it was an innovative dynamic solutions business which would further develop my fire knowledge and would give me the opportunity to get involved with market leading wireless Taurus technology which I truly believe wireless is the future.”
“Hyfire expanding internationally was close to my heart as my heritage is from Hong Kong and having lived in developing countries, I am a firm believer the lifesaving technology should be accessible and available to everyone across the world”
As the new Head of Product, Kenny brings a wealth of experience that will strengthen and grow the product management function in the UK market. One of his goals is how to leverage new technologies and incorporate them within the fire industry.
Kenny commented: “Hyfire has always had strong relationships with installers, consultants and end users so I am really keen to understand their pain points and drive new products and solutions which will make a real difference”.

When he’s not busy leveraging his skills and expertise to help Hyfire achieve all their goals, Kenny enjoys watching his local football team play, travelling and especially enjoys sampling the local delicacies. Kenny is also excited to take part in the Orama wellbeing programme.
“I was always impressed by Orama’s emphasis on wellbeing and felt that people were at its core. I look forward to taking part in all the fitness activities Orama will organise”.
Orama prioritises the wellbeing of their team, both physically and mentally. By organising various experiences such as swimrun events, yoga lessons and Kin ball games, Orama continues to push forward fitness initiatives promoting wellbeing throughout all their companies.
