A leading London dental practice was able to achieve a rapid installation of its new fire system, with minimal disruption to patients and staff, thanks to wireless fire devices from Hyfire.
The 38 Devonshire Street building is home to one of London’s most prestigious dental practices, housed in a building that forms part of the historic Howard de Walden Estate. The practice engaged FAFS Fire & Security to replace the existing, defective fire system, an early wireless model from another manufacturer, with a state of the art Taurus system from Hyfire.
Chris McGregor, Regional Sales Manager for Hyfire, commented: “This is an old building that plays host to a busy dental clinic, so there was a clear need to replace the old system as quickly as possible, with minimal inconvenience to customers and as little impact as possible on the building itself. The end client clearly understood the benefits of wireless, so a new system was specified with 40 Hyfire devices, including detectors, sounders and manual call points.
“The end result is a system that is barely noticeable within the fabric of the building, meeting all modern standards and offering assurance to building users. It is also adaptable, with the option to expand or upgrade in the future as the building and UK fire standards evolve.”
