Wireless fire systems leader Hyfire is delighted to announce the appointment of Robert Read as UK Technical Manager, ensuring Hyfire’s tech support and service continue to deliver best in class support and service to our customers.
Robert joins Hyfire with over 20 years’ experience of fire systems in fields across design, install, commissioning, support, project planning, engineer training and management and key client management for many of the UK’s most well-known fire businesses and across a wide range of vertical markets.
In his time he has taken responsibility for the fire systems in some of the country’s most precious buildings and complex fire systems, such as at the London Royal Albert Hall and Aldi Distribution centre in Swindon.
Speaking of his new role, Robert said: ”I joined Hyfire because I honestly believe that wireless is the future of fire and that Hyfire’s products and development roadmap will cement its position as the highest performing wireless system on the market. Years ago wireless was not regarded as a core technology, Hyfire is one of the companies that have made it trusted and mainstream, to the extent that many of our tech calls now are about complex configurations and cause and effect across wireless only systems. You always want to work for the best in the business and I am delighted to be here”.
Paul Parkes, Hyfire Business Unit manager, said: “We fought off many good companies to sign Rob and we are very pleased we did. His knowledge of standards, procedures and the products and technology on the market are second to none. His immediate understanding of customer and end user perspectives is like gold dust and have immediately positively impacted our tech support and service performance. With Rob now heading our already excellent tech support team, our customers can be sure they are in the very best hands to quickly and professionally resolve any issues or questions they may have with Hyfire’s leading wireless technology.”
